Maine has many non-profits that tirelessly support our communities and our democracy. Below are links to a few of the organizations that our members are engaged with or support (both in Lincoln and throughout greater Maine). They could use your support as they work to support our fellow Mainers, promote democratic values, or advocate for causes to benefit the people of Maine.

Maine’s largest progressive community action organization. Fighting for a world where everyone contributes what they can, has what they need, and no one is left behind.

Maine AllCare promotes the establishment of a publicly funded health care coverage for all Maine residents. This system must be efficient, financially sound, politically sustainable and must provide benefits fairly distributed to all.

The League of Women Voters of Maine is a nonpartisan, grassroots political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. We never support or oppose any political party or candidate. Membership is open to anyone 16 years of age or older.

Save A Life Recovery Center in Lincoln offers a variety of free resources, such as recovery coaching, meetings, harm reduction tools, and programs such as art, yoga, and writing.
